My Department provided a grant of £30,000 to the Irish Centre for Talented Youth in November 1996 in recognition of its work with gifted children.
Earlier this year the centre submitted an application to my Department for further funding. This application is currently under consideration and I expect that a decision on the matter will be conveyed to the centre very shortly.
