125 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will designate the proposed new Ballymun Garda station as the divisional headquarters in view of the fact that the existing accommodation is inadequate and the proposed new station will be superior; and if he will make a statement on the matter. No formal request has been received by my Department to have the proposed new Garda station at Ballymun designated as the new divisional headquarters. I understand, however, that the Garda authorities are considering the matter.
