273 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow receives cardiac surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin 4; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22527/99]
The provision of medical treatment in this case is the responsibility, in the first instance, of the hospital concerned. I have asked the chief executive officer of St. Vincent's Hospital to investigate this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
