115 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources further to Parliamentary Question No. 72 of 13 October 1999, the outcome of the meeting relating to the application by an angling club (details supplied) in County Kilkenny for grant aid. [22363/99]
The Central Fisheries Board has informed me that the Tourism Angling Measure Management Committee made its decision on the application in question at its meeting on 19 October 1999. The board advises that the promoters have been informed that the project was deemed ineligible for funding by the committee because it did not meet the requisite criteria in terms of tourism angling enhancement.
