103 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance if he has received correspondence from an organisation (details supplied) on the operation of the 1994 disabled drivers and passengers tax refund scheme; and the changes, if any, he intends to introduce to the operation of this scheme. [23767/99]
I am in receipt of correspondence from the organisation in question. In addition, I have received numerous representations on its behalf.
I am sure that the Deputy is aware that the disabled drivers' and disabled passengers' (tax concessions) scheme is under review by an interdepartmental group chaired by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform. Pending receipt of the report of the group, I do not think it is prudent for me to comment on the matter one way or another.
