287 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children if the Irish Medicines Board has consulted with him on the setting up of a group to review the levels at which vitamins and minerals are considered as food or medicine; and, if so, the members of this review group. [25274/99]

The setting up of this scientific working group was an initiative of the Irish Medicines Board. My Department has accepted an invitation to nominate a member to the group and I have asked the board to furnish the details on the composition of the group to the Deputy when finalised.
