Ceist:

145 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands her views on the provision of a Comhaltas Ceoltóirí centre on the northside of Dublin Bay as a centre for the tuition, practice and performance of traditional music and dance; and if funding will be provided for the project. An amount of £713,000 was allocated in the recent budget towards the cost of the development of CLASSAC, a centre for traditional music in Clontarf. I expect that discussions regarding the development of the project will take place shortly between officials of my Department and representatives of the project promoters.
