305 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the progress, if any, in relation to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who is a participant in the early retirement from farming scheme. [1892/00]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (Mr. Walsh):

An inspection by my Department indicated evidence of serious non-compliance with the terms of the scheme on the part of the person named. The matter is being considered and the person named will be informed of the outcome within two weeks.
