134 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if the refurbishment of the exterior of Reginald's Tower, Waterford, will be carried out in 2000; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2084/00]

The works at Reginald's Tower have been delayed due to the shortage of skilled workers available to the heritage service of my Department. Arrangements to fill these vacancies are in train and as soon as positions are filled the works will commence.
