Ceist:

227 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Education and Science if the primary school at Littlepace, Castaheny, County Dublin, will be open in September 2000; the proposals, if any, he has for the parents of children in the area if the full scale building is not up and running; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2721/00]

(Dr. Woods): My Department fully accepts the need for a primary school in Littlepace, Castaheny, County Dublin, and is currently engaged in securing a suitable site for the school. The arrangements to be made for next September will be decided in the context of progress in securing the site.
