180 Mr. Coveney asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the progress, if any, being made on the construction of the maritime college at Ringaskiddy, County Cork. [3120/00]
Written Answers. - Maritime College.
As the Deputy may be aware, an expert interdepartmental working group was set up to examine the costings, financing and timing of the new maritime college, whose establishment is a commitment in the Government's An Action Programme for the Millennium, as reviewed in November 1999. I am advised that the group expects to complete its work very shortly. A fully developed and costed proposal for the construction of the college will then be presented to the Government.
