Written Answers. - Psychological Service.
A competition for recruitment to the National Educational Psychological Service Agency is being organised by the Civil Service and Local Appointments Commissioners. Two panels of successful candidates have now been drawn up and I understand that job offers will be issued to the first panel in the very near future. In addition to the new posts sanctioned by the Department of Finance, psychologists will be appointed to fill vacancies caused by resignations, including that in north Kerry where the psychologist had provided a service to primary schools. Psychological services are currently available to second level schools in north Kerry.
