I expect to announce details of the block grant allocations to county councils under the devolved rural water programme, which includes group water schemes, within the next few weeks.
246 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the number of group water schemes in County Mayo which do not conform to water quality standards arising from the recent Environmental Protection Agency report on the quality of drinking water in rural Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
