Written Answers. - School Staffing.
The authorised staffing level for the school in question for the 1999-2000 school year is a principal plus one assistant teacher. The school in question also has the services of a shared remedial teacher and a resource teacher.
The resource teaching post was allocated exclusively to the school in question to enable the school authorities to cater for two pupils with special educational needs. This post will continue to be available to the school while the children in question remain on the school roll.
