Ceist:

305 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Education and Science when his Department will fully recognise the Castleknock Educate Together school; and if he will assist the school in obtaining a permanent site in view of the fact that it is currently located in temporary accommodation in Laurel Lodge community centre and will face a crisis of accommodation when substantial numbers of additional children are enrolled in the next school year. The matter raised by the Deputy is being examined by my Department and will be dealt with as quickly as possible.

The question of allocating capital grant-aid for the purchase of a site will be contingent on, among other things, the school fully meeting the criteria for the granting of permanent recognition.
