Vol. 514 No. 6
127 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if funding has been allocated to the pier at Rinroe, Kilgalligan, Carrowtigue, Ballina, County Mayo; and when the light at the pier will be repaired. [4947/00]
Rinroe Pier is owned by Mayo County Council and its maintenance and development is primarily the responsibility of the local authority. As the pier is located in a Gaeltacht area, the question of funding for any proposed development works would be a matter in the first instance for the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands.
