84 Mr. Deasy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the proposals, if any, being drawn up to provide a pension or redundancy package for the former workers of the Irish Hospital Sweepstake Trust; and, if so, if she will give details in this regard. [5571/00]

Tanaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Ms Harney):

A proposal to provide for an ex gratia payment to the former workers of the Irish Hospital Sweepstake Trust is being prepared and I hope to bring it to Cabinet shortly.
