Ceist:206 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Health and Children when work will commence on the new health centre at Cootehill, County Cavan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6151/00]
Written Answers. - Hospitals Building Programme.
The provision of health centres in County Cavan is, in the first instance, a matter for the North-Eastern Health Board. The board has now received tenders for the project at Cootehill.
The question of the provision of funding for the project is one which will be considered in the context of the national development plan. It is my intention to apprise the North-Eastern Health Board and the other health boards this week of the indicative funding available to them under the plan following which the capital programme for 2000 will be finalised.
