319 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Education and Science the status of the proposed second level school at Kilcoole, County Wicklow; the name of the architects appointed; the date for the start of construction; the completion date of the school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5891/00]

The proposed new second level school for Kilcoole will be a community college.

Jim Coady and Associates have been appointed as the design team architects for the project and architectural planning has now commenced.

It is not possible at this stage to indicate the likely start date or completion date of the construction.
