65 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 52 of 27 January 2000, his attention has been drawn to the fact that the Department of the Environment and Local Government has received a marine study with a consulting engineer's report in respect of the sewerage scheme involved; if the marine study is in order in the context of his Department's requirements; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My attention has been drawn to the reply of the Minister for the Environment and Local Government to Parliamentary Question No. 113 on 27 January 2000. There is no change in the position as set out in my predecessor's reply to Question No. 52 on that date regarding the Foreshore Acts. My Department wrote to Mayo County Council on 26 January 2000 inquiring about its proposals and awaits a reply.
