Officials of my Department have had discussions recently with representatives of the Union of Students in Ireland on a number of issues, including that of the cost of materials for certain third level courses, including art. I am having this matter and related costs examined by my Department with a view to having the issues involved and recommendations thereon submitted for my consideration.
