88 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will provide the necessary funding to enable the Southern Health Board to provide a day care centre for Castleis land, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7214/00]
The provision of a day care centre at Castleisland is included as part of the Southern Health Board's plan for the development of services for older people in County Kerry. The provision of such a centre is being considered in the context of the availability of capital funding under the national development plan and the priority allocated to the project by the Southern Health Board.
