I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Stanton – the need for the Government to act to safeguard the future of the horticultural industry in Cork; (2) Deputy Ellis – the need to establish a district veterinary office in County Leitrim; (3) Deputy Deenihan – the need to repair and make safe Ballybunion Castle, County Kerry; and (4) Deputy Brendan Smith – the proposal by the North Eastern Health Board and Cerebral Palsy Ireland to provide a regional assessment and treatment centre for children with physical and sensory disabilities in Cavan. The matters raised by the Deputies have been selected for discussion.
