116 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if she will list the State enterprises likely to be the subject of privatisation or flotation; the projected timescale in each case; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9336/00]

Aer Lingus is the only State enterprise under my aegis for which there is a current Government decision to sell off. The process leading to an initial public offering of shares in the airline is under way and depending on market conditions and the satisfactory finalisation at all preparatory stages for the IPO, it may be possible to complete the offering in the latter half of 2000 or early 2001.
