Ceist:119 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the outcome of an appeal by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny in relation to his special beef premium. [9574/00]

The person named submitted an application for special beef premium on 24 February 1999 listing a total of 31 animals. The application was the subject of an on-farm inspection, as a result of which the person named was excluded from the special beef premium scheme for the calendar year 1999. The person named appealed this decision to the relevant district inspector. Information has been requested from the person named and upon receipt of same a decision will issue.
