217 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will make a statement on recent reports that up to six breast disease units outside Dublin and Cork will be axed in the review of symptomatic breast cancer services. [9994/00]
The National Cancer Forum, established by one of my predecessors, Deputy Noonan, has carried out a review of symptomatic breast cancer services throughout the country. I understand that the review is complete and I expect to receive the report of this specialist expert group very shortly. I will consider the views of the forum when I receive the report.
