165 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to seek planning permission for the new Land Registry building; the dimension of the building and the number of staff it will cater for; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10056/00]
The Commissioners of Public Works will shortly invite indications of interest from parties interested in developing their site at Smithfield, Dublin 7. It will be the responsibility of the successful developer to secure planning permission.
It is too early to say when planning permission will be sought, the dimensions of the successful design or how many staff the full development will accommodate.
