148 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs if he will ensure that progress is made in relation to an application by a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath for an established permanent position with his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The person referred to by the Deputy, who is an employee of the Department, applied for an established position in a competition conducted by the Civil Service Commissioners. The question of her possible appointment is a matter for the Civil Service Commissioners.
