102 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he has issued a licence to quarry or excavate rock in Monasterboice, County Louth; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that excavating is taking place near Monasterboice Tower and Celtic Cross.. [11034/00]

A licence to quarry or excavate rock is not required under the Minerals Development Acts, and I have accordingly no function in relation to the subject matter of this question.
