Ceist:

36 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his views on whether the IRA may have been involved in killing a man in Dublin recently; his further views on whether the IRA has killed as many as a dozen suspected drug dealers in the North since the ceasefires began; and his further views on whether the IRA guns are silent. I am not clear to which incident in Dublin the Deputy may be referring, and of course I cannot comment on the details of criminal investigations in Northern Ireland. More generally, however, I am satisfied that the IRA ceasefire remains in place.
