58 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the Garda has investigated in the past four weeks the circumstances surrounding the death of a person (details supplied) in a Dublin hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11084/00]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the matter to which the question refers has not been and is not currently the subject of a Garda investigation.
