546 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the unsafe nature of the playground at St. Patrick's infants national school, Gardiner's Hill, Cork; and if he will make the necessary funding available to deal with this problem. [12427/00]

My Department requested the Office of Public Works to carry out a technical assessment of the playground at St. Patrick's infants' national school, Gardener's Hill.

The matter will be given further consideration as soon as the report is received in my Department.
