18 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the steps taken by him to inform the staff at the Abbotstown Laboratories in Castleknock of the relocation of the laboratories to Backweston Farm in Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13823/00

My Department has put in place arrangements, including regular consultative meetings, to keep staff informed of developments relating to the transfer of laboratories from Abbotstown to Backweston.
