344 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Education and Science if plans for the extension of Kilmadeema national school in County Galway have been completed so that work can commence and be completed during the summer holidays to minimise disruption during the school year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

My Department's planning and building unit is currently assessing the long-term accommodation needs of Kilnadeema national school, County Galway. When this examination has been completed the matter will be progressed further.
