95 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the reason for the delay in the establishment of the fisheries boards; when they will come into operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15053/00]

I refer the Deputy to my replies to Question No. 104 on 12 April 2000 and Question No. 105 on 23 May 2000.

I am considering the candidates which have been nominated for appointment as members of the regional fisheries boards and I will make my appointments shortly.
