115 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will consider funding for the Union of Students in Ireland in order for them to produce further leaflets on health issues; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15633/00]
Officials from the health promotion unit of my Department recently met with representatives of the Union of Students of Ireland and funding for the publication of literature was discussed. The Union of Students of Ireland was asked to submit a proposal to the unit outlining the cost and range of literature which they proposed to produce. When received, this proposal will be considered in light of the availability of resources and the current range of literature available from the health promotion unit.
