31 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the terms of reference of the Gaeltacht Commission; when she expects the Commission to report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [15319/00]
I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 87 of 12 April. The membership and terms of reference of the commission on the Irish language in the gaeltacht were circulated in the Official Report as part of the reply to that question.
The commission held its first meeting in Rosmuck in the Connemara Gaeltacht on 22 May. I expect that the commission will take one year to report.
