Vol. 520 No. 4

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Theresa Ahearn

Ceist:

65 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if a decision was made on a 1997 special beef premium application by a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15933/00]

The appeal was concluded in September 1998 and the herdowner was notified that his appeal was unsuccessful.

The case is now being re-examined following the receipt of new evidence. It is expected this review will be concluded very shortly. The headage and premia appeals unit will write to the herdowner.

John Perry

Ceist:

66 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will intervene in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo and have his slatted shed grant paid immediately; the reason for the delay in this regard; if he will make a favourable decision; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15947/00]

The project in this case is scheduled for inspection this week. On the basis that all aspects are in order, payment will issue within three to four weeks.

Ivan Yates

Ceist:

67 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if extensification premium payments for 1999 will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford on appeal or otherwise. [15948/00]

The stocking density for the person named will be calculated as follows:

As the stocking density on the holding is less than 1.00 Lu/Ha he will be eligible for the high rate of extensification of £43.13 per animal. Payments of 1999 extensification will commence within the next two weeks.
