184 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received an application from a school (details supplied) in County Wicklow for a general purposes room; the position with regard to the application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16248/00]
I can confirm that my Department has received an application from the school in question for a general purpose room. The application will be dealt with as quickly as possible having regard to the large volume of such applications being processed by my Department at present.
Architectural planning for an extension at the school in question is already at an advanced stage of the planning process.
