Written Answers. - Curriculum Development.
The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment – NCCA – is the official body established by my Department to advise on curriculum development. As provided for in the Education Act the NCCA will be established as a statutory body in the near future. The existing arrangements for curriculum implementation and examination are satisfactory and I have no plans to make the changes suggested by the Deputy.
