499 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress made to date by his Department in providing additional accommodation and safety measures for a school (details supplied) in County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18385/00]

My Department is assessing the future accommodation requirements of the school in question. When this process has been completed the matter will be progressed further.

The board of management will be kept informed of developments.
