Ceist:101 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Finance if he will review the amount assessed on properties in respect of probate tax (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18694/00]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that as no probate tax return appears to have been lodged it is not possible to comment on the circumstances of this case. On receipt of the completed return the capital taxes division will deal with this matter promptly.
