237 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position with regard to the provision of an extension to Ballinakill national school, Loughrea, County Galway; when work will start on this project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18723/00]
My Department has received an application from the management authorities of Ballinakill national school for improved accommodation. I assure the Deputy that the case is being dealt with as quickly as possible having regard to the large number of school building projects on hand at present within my Department.
