Written Answers. - School Placement.
In May 2000, my Department sanctioned ten hours per week home tuition for the pupil in question pending a suitable educational placement becoming available. I understand the pupil did not avail of this tuition until 25 September 2000.
I have requested my Department's inspectorate to investigate a suitable educational placement for this child as a matter of urgency.
