Ceist:

1112 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received a request for funding for the provision of a new library at NUI Maynooth, County Kildare; and, if so, when it is expected that a decision will be made on the matter. [20602/00]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

My Department is aware that NUI Maynooth has plans for an extension to its library. However, my Department has received no proposal from the college in this regard.
