143 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give early and favourable consideration to the request by an organisation (details supplied) in County Kilkenny to purchase a property in its area in view of the circumstances as detailed in representations of 7 September 2000. County Kilkenny VEC has raised with my Department the disposal of the premises in question.

The matter is under consideration at present in my Department, which will be in contact with the committee in the very near future.
