Alan Shatter
Ceist:289 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will sanction the appointment of consultants to prepare the necessary plans to replace the dilapidated prefabs currently in use in Knocklyon Primary School, Dublin 22 by the construction of permanent additional classrooms for both junior and senior infants; if he will further provide for the necessary additional rooms for children with special needs and who require remedial teaching; if he will provide a library for the school; if he will provide the required administrative offices and a new playground area; and his views on whether the facilities presently in use at the school are grossly inadequate to provide for the needs of the 1,500 pupils attending it and the basic requirements of all of those teaching at the school.
