Vol. 525 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tax Collection.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

105 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance if persons (details supplied) in County Cork have an income tax liability; and if not, if a letter will issue to them from the Revenue Commissioners indicating this. [23674/00]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes does not have sufficient information to enable her to determine the taxpayers' income tax liability. The inspector has issued farm profile forms to the taxpayers. They should complete and return the forms to the Inspector of Taxes, Cork Tax District, Sullivan's Quay, Cork, telephone (021) 966077.

Upon receipt of the completed documentation, the inspector will review the taxpayers' liability and, if they are exempt from tax, letters to that effect will issue as soon as possible.
