Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.
The stage 4-5 submission, detail design/bill of quantities, was submitted to my Department in May of this year by County Waterford VEC. Following examination of the documentation some amendments were considered necessary. In August 2000 a revised stage 4-5 submission was submitted to my Department which did not include an up to date cost plan. The revised cost plan has now been received and is currently under consideration.
The question of the invitation of tenders will be considered following the examination of the tender documents.

The revised stage 4-5 submission, detail design/bill of quantities, recently examined by my Department's building unit requires further adjustments. Upon receipt of a revised submission, the question of the invitation of tenders will be considered.

The stage 3 submission, developed sketch scheme, in respect of the new vocational school at Ring, County Waterford was received in my Department in August 2000 from County Waterford Vocational Education Committee. Following the examination of this documentation a number of amendments were considered necessary.
The vocational education committee was duly requested to amend the stage 3 documentation. The revised submission has now been received and the matter is being examined further with a view to progressing this project to stage 4, detailed design.
