Ceist:

221 Mr. Sargent asked the Taoiseach if he will detail, from the time of the current Dáil, the financial penalties imposed on the Government resulting from the failure of his Department to comply with EU directives; and the legal proceedings that are now pending by the EU as a result of the failure of his Department to comply with EU directives. The Taoiseach:

There have been no financial penalties imposed on the Government as a result of my Department failing to comply with EU directives. There are no legal proceedings now pending by the EU as a result of the failure of my Department to comply with EU directives.
